Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She was best known for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the leading role of Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. There is a sibling named Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speaker of the class in 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to allow her in for an additional entry after she was cast in "Nashville". Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally And Ally and Alley (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and NecessaryRoughness (1991) as guest star. She appeared in made for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The actress was cast in the role of a major regular in the second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed her bipolar disorder during an interview she conducted the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the best actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
