Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson became deeply entwined after they met for the first time. Ashley Hudson was 17 and hadn't had a girlfriend prior to that, so they decided to take their time. They fell in love with each other at first glance. It was New Year's Eve, just ahead of the year's beginning, Andrew requested God to bless him with one last thing that is the year... that Ashley would say yes and get married to him. Ashley wanted an elegant wedding that was a folk-inspired wedding. It was essential for her that the wedding was a reflection of both Andrew and Ashley. They combined a little bit of everything they loved to create their big day. Ashley was raised on 40 acres. Ashley enjoyed playing and exploring every inch of the property, which included the paths they walked to reach the spot. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in this area several times when they began dating. Since the wedding was almost entirely DIY, personalization was an integral role. Andrew's father as well as Ashley as well as Ashley created the wedding ceremony and seating arch. Ashley made and painted some of the decorations for the wedding. Ashley claims that we might have never had the magic wedding I had imagined if the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral design. Absolutely stunning.
